Endoscopy Gives Us a Window into Your Pet's Problems

Sometimes the cause of a pet's health problem is not readily apparent. That's when Shea's medical team digs deeper. One way we do so is by collaborating with a veterinary specialist to perform high level endoscopic testing. During an endoscopic procedure, which is performed at our hospital, the pet is anesthetized, then the specialist inserts a lighted, flexible tube through key body structures, like the respiratory or digestive tract, so they can be viewed and biopsied, if necessary.

Shea Animal Hospital is dedicated to helping your pet live a healthy, happy life. Please contact us today with your questions or concerns, or to schedule an exam.
