Wellness exams, preventative medicine

Finding problems early is essential to optimum health.  We recommend yearly examinations to detect or prevent disease before it is too late.

Internal medicine

Advances in medicine come almost daily.  Our doctors receive continuing education in the latest treatments.

Radiography, ultrasound , endoscopy

X-rays are taken, developed and read in our hospital.  We have a board certified internal medicine specialist preform ultrasounds and endoscopy when needed.

Complete surgical and orthopedic care

Our doctors perform a wide range of surgeries, from spays and neuters to major abdomenal surgery. 

Oral health care and preventative dental cleaning

Periodontal disease is the most common problem our pets face.  We are able to help correct this problem using our state of the art dental equipment.

Extensive anesthetic monitoring

Anesthesia is always a concern.  To minimize the risks, we employ extensive patient monitoring, advanced anesthetic techinques and pre-op risk accessment.

In-hospital blood work and diagnostics

Laboratory testing is an essential part of modern medicine.  In addition to our in-house testing we send samples twice a day to one of the premier veterinary labs in the USA.

Chinese herbal and Alternative medicine

Dr. Desiree Garthe , one our fine veterinarians, is a certified practioner of Chinese herbal and alternative medicine. 

Acupuncture 

This ancient art is proving to be very helpful for arthritis and other chronic disease problems.

Exotic animal surgery and medicine

Dr. Rick Sampson has provided care for exotic animals including:  birds, ferrets, rabbits, pocket pets, and reptiles for 27 years.

Heartworm testing and prevention

We provide in-house testing, treatment and preventative medicine for heartworm disease.

Professional grooming and bathing

Caring gental grooming services are provided by Tina Garrett. An experienced groomer, Tina works on all breeds of  dog and cats.

8:30am - 12pm Saturdays
